By using GatherAt you agree to these terms. They’re short on purpose.
What GatherAt is
A tool for organising private gatherings. Events are visible only to people who were given the link. Attending is free and requires no account; hosting is paid.
Hosting and payment
- One gathering. A one-time purchase granting a single hosting credit. It does not expire and does not renew.
- A year of hosting. An annual subscription for unlimited gatherings. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Play Store account. Cancelling stops future renewals; gatherings you already created stay live. Refunds are handled by the store, not by us.
Your responsibilities
- Be accurate about what you’re hosting, and honour what you told guests.
- Only invite people you actually mean to invite. A link is all it takes to get in.
- Don’t use GatherAt to harass anyone, to organise anything illegal, or to send unsolicited messages.
- Don’t upload photos of people who would object to them being shared.
You are responsible for your gathering. GatherAt is the tool you used to organise it. We are not a party to it and take no responsibility for what happens there.
Content
What you post stays yours. You give us permission to store and display it to the people you invited, which is what makes the product function. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Ending it
Delete your account any time from the app. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms where it’s reasonable to do so, we’ll tell you why first.
The boring but necessary part
GatherAt is provided as-is. We don’t promise it will never go down or never lose data, though we work to prevent both. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.
